Bobcats Booster Club

Booster Directors

The task of a booster director is to plan, organize, and implement community fundraising events to generate money for Grandview Heights High School. The allotment of the funds received is decided by the board at monthly meetings. In past years, events such as the Run-for-Fun Marathon, Thanksgiving Turkey Parade, The Holiday Bake Sale, The Spring Bowl-a-thon, and the Summer Picnic / Hog Roast have raised more than $50,000. Directors also organize volunteer man-power needed for community projects such as planting American Flags in front yards for Memorial Day and the 4th of July, and clean-up of athletic fields.

Time Commitment

Directors must attend event planning meetings once a month. In general, each director chairs one event per year, and invests time before and after that event to make certain that all the details are taken care of and that it runs smoothly - cleanup included. Aside from chairing an event, directors help out at other events - but that only requires investing a few hours for the event itself.

How to Join

All parents of students in the highschool are encouraged to join and show support for all aspects of the educational process. Directors choose when to teminate their term.

The Bobcat Club

Anyone who donates more than $100 to The Bobcat Booster Club receives the elite status of being part of the Bobcat Club. Benefits include reduced admission to Bobcat games.
